So, I worked a lot. Maybe I shouldn't have had that taste of a weekend all to myself. :p I did get down to see my family on Saturday, so that was good. I visited one of my aunts, who is also my car insurance agent, to renew my insurance, and then stopped to see my dad at work. That was nice, if only because his desk is covered in pictures of his new family all together. He says he doesn't have any recent pictures of me. Fun. Also! I got guilted into visiting my grandparents that I never see, and that was horribly depressing. I feel like I should go down there more, but I never have time, and...it's really depressing.
I hung out with my mother and sisters, though. And played with a new puppy.

Meet Cletus!
He's so little. And adorable. And I want him. One day, I will have a sweet little miniature puppy, too.

I have thoughts, but they're mostly about the characters and my shifting degree of love or hate for them. The plots this season really sucked. Really a lot. I was bored through the first half of the season, but I thought it picked up by the end. The last two episodes made me cry a whole lot, and if it weren't for Nate's stupid crazytown breakdown, I think the finale would be one of my favorite episodes so far.
But, my love for David Fisher continues to grow. I can't get enough of each of his relationships with the rest of his family. I know Nate is supposed to be the show's leading character, but since I'm pretty sure my days of really liking Nate's character are over and only going downhill from here, I wish the show had shifted its focus to David a little more. Ruth was previously one of my least favorite characters, but I kinda love her now. And Claire, well. I like Claire a lot, but she didn't really get a whole lot to do until the end of the season, besides whine about her art.
Also, and I think it's a testament to the crappiness of the other storylines this season, but I was really interested in Brenda and her family. I like the new and improved and fucked-up-in-ways-I-actually-like-watching Brenda, and I wish we hadn't been forced to sit through all her obnoxious drama in S2 to get to this point.
So, that's all I've got, but I don't feel like just skipping ahead to the series finale anymore, so, on to S4, I guess.

No. I did not have Conan O'Brien fall through the ceiling.
Hee. Yay for The Office!
Also. I love this picture. Clearly, for the adorable man in the background. NO, NOT TRACEY MORGAN.

Bradley!

Sooo...no one's going to be in the office with me for a couple of hours, and I'm running out of work to do, so I kinda wanna do the top 5 meme again, and I'm gonna steal Teija's line:
Ask me top fives or I'll silently resent you!
Please? BOREDOM MIGHT KILL ME!

1. In OotP, after the Trio learns about thestrals, and Hermione is freaking out about how cool they are and how she wishes she could see them, and Harry just quietly askes "Do you?" It kills me every time I read it.
2. Fred and George riding off into the sunset in OotP.
3. The Shrieking Shack scene.
4. The end of GoF, when Harry is telling Dumbledore about the graveyard, and Sirius is there the whole time with his hand on Harry's shoulder, and then he squeezes it so hard it hurts him. That's probably the thing I miss the most that got cut out of the movie.
5. Neville saving his mom's gum wrapper.
