i'm not going anywhere but here

So my hotmail account just isn't working anymore. I can't access or delete any of my emails because it just freezes up on me. I'm thinking that was the thing I needed to start moving everything over to my gmail account anyway.

so frelling cold today

Elizabeth Edwards has breast cancer.

She was diagnosed yesterday. That's just all kinds of awful.

Also, look at that cute picture of their family! They are so adorable and Kennedy-like! How could people not want them to be in charge????

And also again? How in the world is that woman 55 with children that young? Wow. Sta-min-a.

Let's see. Oh! I wanted to link to _jems_'s post on why George Bush has been a pretty awful president. It lays out in pretty simple terms a lot of the reasons I feel he should not have been re-elected. So, there it is. (Hee, there are also Veronica Mars screencaps if you are so interested.)


In other news, I spent the day curled up in my room smothered in sweatshirts and blankets and drinking lots of tea. It was too rainy and far too cold to go outside and attempt to go to class. Blecchh.

The library is warmer, but not by much. Maryland should not be this cold in November. It just doesn't seem right.

I have to go to Transcendentalism class, so I'm gonna finish some of my reading and note-taking and try very hard not to start reading the Daily Show America book, which the library just got in today and which I promptly checked out. (Dude! There's a foward by Thomas "T.J." Jefferson!)

And look for pictures sometime soon, if I can ever figure out how to upload them onto my computer using Racheal's camera. And possibly more spam. Cause spam is fuuuun!
