It's just..I just kinda feel sick.

And really want to go to sleep, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

I cannot and will not support George Bush. I am not optimistic for the future.

That said, if this is how half of America feels, I'm wondering if this is really the place I want to be. My views do not reflect the views of half of Americans. And I don't want to live somewhere that hate and fear and intolerance and outright lies are taught as the norm.

I just, I'm upset with myself, too. I let myself get my hopes up, which is something I try not to do ever, and even if by some act of God things end up going our way, I'm still entirely disappointed with the American people.

I try and respect other people's viewpoints, but for the most part, everyone I've met who voted for GW, and this includes a good portion of my family, did nothing but spout the political rhetoric that he spouted during the campaign. They didn't know the real issues and they didn't bother to look them up and then make a case for themselves. I want people to be informed and actually want to care about who's in charge of their lives.

I don't know. I'm still kind of at a loss. Not terribly angry yet, mostly just numb.

I have to go to class.

ETA: I didn't go to class. But I leave my computer for 20 minutes to take a shower and he fucking concedes???? Grrraarrgh.

This was not okay. We will deliver the election to the president? Why wasn't this all over the news?

THIS IS NOT OKAY. Big surprise, glitches found. And this isn't all over the news because...?

There is not still a complete liberal media bias. The so-called liberal media sure does a good job of letting the President get away with a lot of crap.

But really, what are you going to do when over half of 120 million voters think Bush is the one for the job? If America is really that bigoted and prejudiced and think it's okay to go to war on false pretenses, then who am I to object? Luckily, it only took 30% of the American people to come to this "overwhelming" decision...
