Raise your hand if you just put in a ten-hour day at a bookstore during the last-week-of-school-buyback/ten days to Christmas rush, in which you got only four hours of sleep in preparation for and at one point proceeded to have $126.25 stolen from right under your nose.

I have a final to study for, but I think I've earned a couple hours to myself after the horrendousness that was today. GRUMBLEGRUMBLE.

My day is sucking monkey balls too. I had an exam, and my train broke down on the way so I was almost late. Some dickhead almost ran me over on the way to hand in my assignment, they didn't even stop, they just kept going so I had to run to avoid being hit. Then I am about to get into my car after a 50 minute train ride, only to realise that I forgot to hand in my assignment. I emailed the course coordinator begging for her to let me submit it by email, otherwise I'm going have to do a huge mission back to drop it off. AGH. *prays that she replies before the deadline*

I think we both need huge quantities of alcohol and a whole lot of luck!

Yikes, that's awful. I hope your professor emails you. She should take pity on your poor-almost-run-over soul.

It was work's money. I was assured over and over that it wasn't my fault, but I still feel like crap. Cause if I'd been paying better attention to the four hundred people in line, I would have noticed. GRRR.

You feel like crap about that... I was blamed for $40 going missing once, formal warning and everything. The manager stole it. He was caught stealing out of someone else's till. Bastard.

If they are going to make you work your ass off like that, then they have to accept responsibility that you won't be 100% alert at all times.
