So. LJ sucks. And I am now recapping the entry it killed with its dead black heart, as I have class in fifteen minutes.
I might be moving to Boston with my fabulous gay uncle after graduation. He's been wanting to go back ever since he moved here again, and he says he'll start looking for two-bedrooms and we can go looking sometime next semester. And so, assuming he doesn't fall through on this, I may start to get excited about graduating, instead of feeling the usual tremor of terror rush through me when anyone mentions May. Yay! I need to get far away from Maryland for a little while, and I really want to get somewhere a little less....NASCAR-y.
And speaking of urbanishness, Rac and I were thinking of going up to NYC this Saturday. The school is paying for a bus up there for some shopping, and we were thinking we would just go. If it doesn't fill up, does anyone else want to go? So what if I have work due next week! I need some FUN, dammit.
Also. I was thinking. I don't have nearly enough holiday music on my playlist these days. And I want some more. So I was thinking that everyone should upload some of their favorite holiday music and post it and we should all steal it from each other. Cause I have a couple of traditional songs on my list (like Judy singing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, which always reduces me to wibbling), but mostly I have South Park stuff, and other various and sundry songs that basically make fun of the whole holiday season.
So. Upload some holiday music, cause I know you all have something on your list! Do it! You know you want to! I'll start. This is my favorite version of this song ever:
Everclear - Santa Baby
Doooo it!

Date: 2004-12-01 08:17 pm (UTC)But if you have the chance, I recommend you aquire "Fairy Tale of New York City," by the Pogues. It's a good song, and fairly amusing (where it's not sad or sweet...it kind of covers all bases).
The only place I've found the lyrics (after spending roughly 2.3 minutes looking) is the webcomic where I first heard of the song.
