Reason No. D I love my creative writing class:

I had a meeting with my professor on my story yesterday, and I was telling him that one of my biggest problems when trying to bang out pages is that I can't just write and then go back and fix, I have to at least be able to read a sentence without cringing before I can move on. He asked if I had ever read Timequake by Vonnegut. I love the man. Dr. Mangan wouldn't have gotten the reference. He told me to keep on bashing. :) I'm a basher!

I've worked on the story for about an hour tonight, give or take, but I still don't have anything new, just a lot more details in what I already have. I also want to completely rework the beginning, but mayhaps I should write more of the middle before doing that. :P


I think I've decided on a schedule for next semester, and if all goes well, I only have two required classes to take next spring, which means I can take a couple of fun electives if I want. I've always wanted to take ceramics or watercolors or someting equally artsy that I've never had the ability to do. Or maybe I'll just be a big dork and take another English class.

I talked to my advisor today for a little bit, and she asked me if I knew what I was writing my senior sem on yet. I made something up really quickly, and she told me I should have all my primary reading done before the class starts in January. Am I really that close to writing my senior sem? She's scary.

Um, I'm exhausted. I should have gone to bed hours ago. At least I have lots of good music to show for it. ;)

Watercolor isn't being offered this semester, but ceramics is. I plan on taking it, if you'd like the company (though I'm a little worried that I don't have ANY experience with 3 dimensional things and am too retarded (from past experience) to use a potters wheel). Meh?

I'm also taking sculpture (MW 3-4:30) which I guess is like ceramics with naked people. So, you also have that option if you want to play with clay.

I was thinking of taking ceramics this semester, but I it's being offered the same time as a history class I want to take to finish out my minor. :( I don't know if I'll ever be talented enough to take a sculpture class, though I bet it'd be fun. :)
