This whole not having the Internet at home thing is totally lame. I can't really do anything here at work, since I'm...at work and all, besides skim the flist and check my email. I miss having an hour or two in the evenings to myself with my computer. It's how I decompress, and that's just not happening lately. Thus, I've been a big ball of wound-up stressfulness, and I'm not liking it one bit.

The other thing is, too, I feel like I have so much to say, but this isn't really the time or place to say it. I'm missing an outlet for spouts of fandom-y glee, for the boring updates of what's going on, for those random thoughts that come to me at 1am. Not to mention the fact that I hate not having IMDb at my fingertips, among other things. You never realize how much you use something until you can't use it anymore, I guess. :p

Ashley and I did go out last night after work, though, which was nice. We had appetizers and drinks at Yellowfin, which is this restaurant that is just all sorts of trendy fabulousness overlooking the water. We've decided that certain friends of ours should come to visit and we should go there. If certain friends of ours were so inclined. Which I think they should be, because I miss them.

Anyway, what's going on in the world? I feel the need to play catch-up. (Also? I'm in desperate need of some new icons, so if anyone wants to point me in the direction of some new pretties, I wouldn't mind at all. *g*)

I miss you. And as for not having the internet at home: I sometimes write things up in word and save them to disk. When I have time/access, I can just cut and paste.

And yeah, I did that last week for something, and then for some reason my disk completely crapped out on me, and would open every file on it except the one I'd saved that I wanted to post. :p I suppose I just need a new disk or something, but it made me mad enough that I haven't tried again yet. I suppose I should the next time I feel like writing something.

Oh and I'm glad you liked Yellowfin. It's a nice break of the pub style bars of Annapolis. Metropolitan is another trendy fabulous bar/restaurant on West St, and I say we get the girls and go there toooooo.
