are you feeling like social tool without a use?

So, in the brief period of time I have been absent, I have:

1. Completed my last exam, thus finishing my final fall semester.
2. Worked 20 hours in the bookstore. OMG this paycheck better be worth it.
3. Exchanged presents with the girls at a fabulous pseudo-holiday party. Rac got me Spider-man 2, and an HP calendar, Chris gave me a pretty green striped box that she painted herself with 6 rolls of Spree (my favorites) in it to hold me over until Garden State comes out, which is my official present, and Aster gave me an I.O.U. for something that hasn't come in yet, that she says I won't like but I need. :P Also, we had cheap champagne to toast the end of the semester, with fondue and apples and caramel dip and choclate chip cookies made by yours truly.
4. Taken Brock to the airport and bid my farewell to my gay boyfriend. He says he'll be back in January, but I'm still worried he'll forget to call me or something. He can be a bit of a flake sometimes.
5. Visited my Stewbert and seen Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, which I liked very much, as I've always been a Jim Carrey fan and the movie was so pretty.
6. Cleaned my entire apartment from top to bottom, minus my bedroom. Well, Racheal helped. :P It is now quite habitable, and as a reward, we watched Fellowship of the Ring last night.
7. Bought most of my Christmas presents, though I'm still stumped for my mother. Last year's present is a bit hard to top, as I made her a stocking that took me four months to cross-stitch. So yeah.
8. Talked to my MeganBean about planning a New Year's party at my apartment. Details to come soon.


So. Just a little bit busy. :) Also? I'm away from my computer for a short period of time and LOOK WHAT I MISS! *FLAILS* May I join the masses in the omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg squee-age now? ;) HALF-BLOOD PRINCE!!! I'm so excited! (yes, Jeff, I have *officially* lost it.)

Oh, and I received a few more holiday cards today, from the splenderific socks_192, the fantabulous eomir, and the pure cheese rodeojones88. ;) Hee. Love you guys, even if the Braff did object to being shipped in a box. :)

Ooooh, and speaking of. Go read the Braff's New Year's Resolutions. More people should make reasonable resolutions like these, like being less kind to bunnies and laughing at babies who are late walkers. Heeeeee.
