Well, kids. End of a year, end of a decade. I don't know about you all, but I am absolutely sick of reflecting at the moment. So instead, I'll just say cheers to the last ten years, and here's hoping I find the direction I've been looking for in the next ten.

One teeny tiny thing, however, since I feel it would be wrong to let the year slip by without mentioning the most awesome thing I did: finally got myself a passport and saw a slightly different part of the world. I don't really have the money for it, but I can feel the itch to travel starting to bubble up from somewhere in my toes. I want that rush of I-am-somewhere-new in my life more often.

It helps that I spent the entire week I was in London in a perpetual state of:





Really. I need more of that.

I think that's the greatest kind of rush! I'm glad you enjoyed traveling so much. I am in the same boat of not having enough money to do it nearly as often as I'd like, but I'm hoping that won't be the case forever (for either of us!)

Here's hoping, anyway! One of my best friends in the world is teaching in Ecuador this year and keeps saying I should come visit during her spring break. I don't want to get my hopes up, but HOW MUCH WOULD I LOVE to be able to scrape that kind of cash up?!

Oh that would be awesome! I always wanted to go live abroad for a year or so but then life happened instead. AHA I am depressing don't listen to me! But traveling is great too! I hope you can make the visit happen!! You still have time to scrounge something up :)
