This whole not having the Internet at home thing is totally lame. I can't really do anything here at work, since I'm...at work and all, besides skim the flist and check my email. I miss having an hour or two in the evenings to myself with my computer. It's how I decompress, and that's just not happening lately. Thus, I've been a big ball of wound-up stressfulness, and I'm not liking it one bit.
The other thing is, too, I feel like I have so much to say, but this isn't really the time or place to say it. I'm missing an outlet for spouts of fandom-y glee, for the boring updates of what's going on, for those random thoughts that come to me at 1am. Not to mention the fact that I hate not having IMDb at my fingertips, among other things. You never realize how much you use something until you can't use it anymore, I guess. :p
Ashley and I did go out last night after work, though, which was nice. We had appetizers and drinks at Yellowfin, which is this restaurant that is just all sorts of trendy fabulousness overlooking the water. We've decided that certain friends of ours should come to visit and we should go there. If certain friends of ours were so inclined. Which I think they should be, because I miss them.
Anyway, what's going on in the world? I feel the need to play catch-up. (Also? I'm in desperate need of some new icons, so if anyone wants to point me in the direction of some new pretties, I wouldn't mind at all. *g*)

Which reminds me...you were still totally unfair on calling "Dibs" on the whole Navy Football team...such trickery ;p
My office was freezing!!!!! But I'm actually home right now paying bills b/c I totally forgot to pay them and put them in the mail this morning...OOOPS! I was just like "uhh...I need to run an errand", no one seemed to care.
Okay, now I have to go back to the office.
And yes, a fabulously trendy bar-hopping spree is exactly what we need to make the cold winter go by faster :)

It's actually hot in my office for once. Which I am not happy about as I'm wearing layers that can't exactly be stripped down. Grr.
Blah. I want everyone to stay out of the office so I can play online. Booooo. :p
