I moved into Ashley's apartment this past weekend, and haven't had much Internet access since I don't have the necessary equipment to get set up in my room. Hence the lack of actual, content-filled updates. Rundown of my life at the moment:
1. Chris, Ashley, Aster and I went to see Serenity this weekend. Just as wonderful the second time around, and I'm hopefully going to see it again this Friday with Garrett. Maybe eventually I'll write something other than I liked it, but meh, probably not.
2. Target is evil and forced me to buy both S1 & S2 of The West Wing yesterday. Problem is, I don't have a DVD player in my room anymore since my computer sucks, so I haven't been able to watch much of it. I busted out the special features for S1 last night after Ashley went to bed, though, and I think I'm in love with Martin Sheen. He's such a sweet, soft-spoken grandfatherly old man. LOVE!
3. I also bought the new Fiona Apple CD. I'm not allowed to spend any more money, ummmm, ever again. But the first Fiona disc in 6 years is worth being in debt for. ;)
4. Ashley got us tickets to the Navy game this weekend, which, weeee! We had so much fun last time, I'm really looking forward to this one. Hopefully we won't sit in front of some guy who thinks he has to explain the rules of football to everyone this time. Because, um, helloooooo, who was the one explaining football to the drum majors at Friday night games in high school? That's right, it was me. Stop wondering. Oooh, I think Chris might be coming over this weekend to get caught up on VMars, too. Chris, are you still wanting to come over this weekend?
5. I have had this awful cough for about three weeks that will NOT GO AWAY. ARRRRGHHH.
6. Work is still vacillating between The Suck and The Okay. Most days are fine, and moments like these when everyone leaves the office are nice and calming, but sometimes everything gets all weird and crazy and not-fun. I hate times like that. I also think I need to start looking for a second job soon. Because I hate being so poor that spending $50 on things that make me happy only serves to make me feel guilty. So, second job I think it's going to have to be, at least for a little while. BLAH.
I should probably get back to work, booooo. But hey, at least it's Wednesday. ;)
