This was supposed to be an entry about how I'm finally moved into my apartment, and how I had a great time today at my mom's 3day walk thingie, but instead it has to be about how much I hate my computer right now.

HATE. I'm going to throw something. Possibly the computer tower. Right out the window.

So this is a plea for someone to come fix it. I know tons of computer savvy people. Someone come help me and I'll bake you cookies. Even chocolate-y kinds.

It's still infested with all kinds of spyware that keep putting popup ads all over the place. It's running so slowly I can't open anything in under five minutes. AIM won't work now. Ad-aware is not helping. I don't know what else to do. This week I will finish backing up files, and then someone wanna come wipe it for me? Please?

Grar.

Okay, but really. I moved into my apartment yesterday and today and it feels soooo good to be home again. I missed the way the apartment smells, which is a gazillion times better than that stupid dorm room I was in. I still haven't unpacked anything because there is no part of me that doesn't ache from carrying every bit of heavy thing I own up and down those stairs. But one thing's for sure, I AM AN AMAZON!! Also, I'm out of shape.

And today was awesome, because I met up with my aunt and uncle in Bethesda and we rode the metro into DC to see my mom cross the finish line at the end of her three day walk. My sisters and my stepfather and my mom's brother also came to cheer her on. She ended up raising $2800 and in all, the 1100 walkers raised over $3.1 million for breast cancer. There was an amazing amount of energy in the air as the walkers finished, with all the crew members cheering and blowing whistles and high five-ing all of them. I think I want to be involved sometime soon, either as a walker or as a volunteer crew member. I might do better in the latter position, I'm not sure if I could do 60 miles in three days. See above re: out of shape.

And uh, my computer sucks and that is all.
