good and bad things

-- RussHist written assignment
-- Analytical paper for Advanced Comp dissecting the style of the author of our choice (three guesses as to who I chose)
-- 28 journal entries for writing journal in Advanced Comp (yes, I'm a slacker)
-- 4 page paper for Dr. Mary's class on Puddn'head Wilson
-- Student Guide to Renaissance Literature that includes a glossary of early modern English, literary terms, important firsts, a top five best and worst works read, and fun facts encountered in the semester (how middle school is that?)
-- Portfolio for Advanced Comp that isn't actually due til Monday of next week, but I have to work on it all this week or else I'll never finish it
And I'm halfway done the Student Guide to the Renaissance. I'm not sure how I'm going to finish both that and Dr. Mary's scarypaperofdoom tomorrow night, but it will get done somehow. Right now, I'm exhausted, I need some sleep. I was awakened at nine this morning by my stupid boss calling to remind me about the student holiday party they had going today, of which I'd already been reminded twice before. It was one of those things where I didn't have to get up til 9:30 and she called at 9 and then it was pointless for me to try to go back to sleep. Grr...stupid woman. And when I say stupid, I mean it. She's really dumb. Some other time I'll tell you why.
Also on the list of bad things about today are the really rude people in the library who start yelling at me because they have a $56 fine on their card because they were too lazy to bring back a reserve that had been sitting on their desk for days. In the five minutes I dealt with that girl, I decided I hated her. Probably not good.
Good things about today? I had a nice conversation with my Advanced Comp. professor about the class and my writing and Mark Twain and Virginia Woolf and why it's okay to laugh out loud at something that only we think is funny. I went to the last TV meeting of the semester and Steve-O was there to help with lighting and microphones and just generally be cute. And um, I listened to Jimmy Eat World, which always puts me in a good mood. :)
