Jul. 10th, 2003 01:30 amWhy is it that I'm always one step ahead of the music industry? What's the deal with all my acoustic boys becoming famous all the sudden? I mean, when did this whole acoustic thing take off?
It's just that, all of a sudden, there are acoustic boys playing on Conan that I haven't even heard of yet. When did that happen? Why is it a fad now?
If Eric Hutchinson becomes famous, then I'll know. I'm destined to work for the music industry and be the guy (or girl as it were) that talks people into selling out and/or *discovers* new bands for radio and stuff. Hmph.
But it's okay. Staying up late tonight has made me aware that my future husband will be playing an acoustic set (or maybe just a song) on The Tool's late night show (read: Carson Daly). So yay! Acoustic Jason!
Then I swear, I'm really going to bed.
