I think I'm starting to understand why adults are all so miserable. They just never got over having to grow up.

It's strange all the emotions that are tangled up in one song. I was fourteen years old the first time I heard these notes. Since then, I've probably listened to them a thousand times. And every time, all those old feelings come flooding back.

I'll never know those people again, will I?
