if nothing else, this made my night.

Favorite thing about today? Finding out that Good Charlotte's new single is called "Predictable." Yes, ladies and gentlemen, my life is complete, I can now die happy, etc. etc.

Actually, the more I think about it, the funnier it becomes. I have no idea what the song or video is about, as I didn't actually hang around to watch it in Target, I was too busy laughing and trying to find Racheal and Aster and Christina to tell them. But! Do they just not understand?

I have a bunch of stuff to do in the next few days. It sucks. And Christmas shopping and everything that entails? SUCKS BIG FAT HAIRY MONKEY BALLS. Blech. December is already half over. I don't have time for anything anymore. It's not that I'm busy doing stuff, there just isn't any time.

I should go to bed. I get to sleep in tomorrow! And then more retail for me! Bleeeeecchhhh?

Yes.

They are a fun band, Good Charlotte, but I must admit, their music is not of the highest quality, and the latest album really does suck. "Predictable" is almost unlistenable.

I have this weird thing with Good Charlotte. They're from my hometowm, and I've never quite forgiven them for calling us white trash in a Rolling Stone interview a few years ago, when clearly it is they who are the white trash. ;)

Plus, it weirds me out to see these kids who used to play at the Christian coffee shop down the street and who had ugly baby blue t-shirts with iron-on letters on them that my friend Brian used to wear because he always liked the weird local bands...become famous. Out of all the cool people in my hometown (all twenty-five of them), why are they the ones to make it? Grrrr.

So yeah. I imagine the new album isn't very good, cause they're trying to be all "grown up" now, and they're only a couple of years older than me. Doesn't work. :P

Yay! I saw them the other day and I knew you needed to have them. :)

I thought, if anyone, you would be most amused by Good Charlotte's great name for a new single. :) Heeeee.

lol too bad that they are such sell-outs... i have to say i kind of liked them when they were the first opening band in a string of four, and were just having fun and didn't care.... but now that they play huge venues and have little 10 year old girls screaming their names... that's just scary.

oh well at least it gave you a laugh :)

Totally.

I think in the beginning I liked them a little, just because they were from where I live and they were famous and it was cool! I knew them first! But then, I get to college and the girls in the room next to me have posters with their faces on it saying how hot they are and yeah, 10-year-old girls are screaming their names, and they're less about having fun and more about being obnoxious and famous now. :P

Plus, they should have known better than to call their original fanbase white trash. Grr. :P
