Every time I think I'm over it, I read another post, or look at a different cap, and nope. Still riding high on fandom love. Not that I'm complaining.
I think I'm just going to have to separate the S1 Meg and the S2 Meg. They'll just have to be two separate characters in my head, because I'm not sure I'll ever be able to reconcile one with the other. But, you do have a point, if maybe it makes everything else make a little more sense, it'll be worth it?
